This week in English:

We will use our DBQ papers to do some lessons on:

• Connecting the grabber to the background information
• Making connections between the pieces of evidence to say something instead of just putting down evidence as reasons.  So What?  Lesson

Students will be typing their argument paper on Google and sending it by Friday

We will read a selection from the Scope Magazine and write a response to a text based question

Students will continue to read independent books and reflect in class in writing folders


In Reading:

We will continue reading The Outsiders

We will practice prediction and inference skills
