This week we will start our first full week of school. Our first three days last week were awesome!
Just so you know, I will update this web page once each week. I would suggest you check it every Monday for the new week's information.
Here is what I have asked the students to do for Monday:
- Log onto the bookspot blog page (This is a secure book blogspot that I only accept Endeavor students on. If you want to have access to it, you will have to go through your students password. Today in class, I gave instructions for how to access the log in page.
- Have their All About Me brochure finished at the beginning of class time Monday.
- Find an independent reading book that they can bring to class every day. (They are aloud to read on phones, tablets, or other electronic devices in my room.)
- Get a composition notebook for Monday (Somehow the composition notebook was left off our supply list.)
This Week:
On Monday we will begin vocabulary notebooks that will be used for every core class.
We will explore vocabulary used in our narrative unit of study
We will set up our writing notebooks (composition books)
Do some research and begin pre-writing about our names
Tuesday and Wednesday we will be in the computer lab taking our first district performance test
Thursday we will review good paragraph writing using the information about our names
Friday we will make our name plates (they will be used when displaying our writing throughout this year)
